The Milwaukee County Transit System finally released some of the details of its proposed route elimations and “restructurings” included in the 2012 Recommended Operating Budget. The Transit Riders Union opposes these unprecidented cuts in service, and the idea that transit can survive in Milwaukee without even inflation-related increases in spending at the county level.
